Who owns the PPE?
The Fire Department. From day one of the lease, the title of the equipment
moves to the Fire Department sometimes before the first payment is made.
What if our legal or fiscal department says “we do not do leases”?
Let us speak with them. In every single case so far we have been able to show
them that leases would work to their advantage. Increasingly, we are seeing
the municipalities recognize the cost savings and other benefits of municipal
lease purchasing. It is simply becoming the norm.
How much paperwork is required?
One Page. It is a one page credit application, with a one to three year financial
history.
How long does a quote take?
Same day quoting is the norm. Usually within 24 hours.
Will the payments change over the lease period?
No. Your monthly payments do not change over the entire period.
Are there closing costs, hidden costs or other up front costs with a lease
purchase program?
No. Your first payment is your first monthly (or semi-annual) payment. There
are no hidden fees.
What if we want out of the lease early?
No problem. There is a month to month straight line declining loan unpaid
balance that is identified at the start of the lease via an attached schedule.
You may buy out the lease by paying that unpaid balance at any time.
What can be financed?
You Name It. Products like Fire trucks, pumpers, rescue rigs, PPE, thermal
imaging cameras, etc. Essentially any long term life capital can be financed.
How flexible is the program?
Powerfully flexible. You can include an allowance for damaged or lost gear,
sizing changes or even new probies. Any funds borrowed but not used are returned
at the end
of the lease.
